Stalla Opens at Beau Rivage

Italian Concept Piano Bar and Bistro Adds New Dimension to Coast Nightlife

BILOXI, Miss. – Drink, eat and linger this summer at Stalla, the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s newest Italian wining and dining venue. Located next to BR Prime inside Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, Stalla is now open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m.-12 a.m. through August 28.

Stalla features a 50-seat bistro where sophisticated music plays while light Italian fare, cocktails and a large selection of wines by the glass are served.

World-renowned impresario, composer and celebrity pianist-entertainer Ronnie Kole performs nightly at Stalla. The New Orleans native has performed for Pope John Paul, II and the last six presidents of the United States. He has been featured at Carnegie Hall, the Super Bowl, on the “Tonight Show” and in more than 600 cities worldwide.

“When you look up piano in the dictionary, you will see a picture of Ronnie Kole,” said Harry Connick, Jr. “He’s one of the greatest players of our time. I can only aspire to be as great as him one day.”

From classical to contemporary, guests can catch Ronnie Kole’s musical performance free each night beginning at 7 p.m.

Guests will experience the latest modern culinary trend with tempting small plates of rustic Italian flavor combinations such as grilled Tuscan artichoke, marinated mushrooms, mozzarella di bufala, caponata and giardiniera- perfect to mix, match and share over cocktails or a glass of wine. A nice variety of $10 gourmet brick-oven pizzas and $6 homemade Italian desserts such as ricotta cheesecake, Sicilian canoli and zabione are also featured. The Italian version of a tapas lounge is ideal for guests who crave a light appetizer or cocktail before dinner, as well as a nice dessert and coffee after dinner.

Designed by Jeffrey Beers and inspired by a rustic Italian winery and farm, Stalla’s setting of warm tones and dark woods exudes a relaxing and inviting ambiance. Trendy and light, Stalla is the ideal start or end to the night.
